What the extension does

Swibit Time Tracker is a browser toolbar companion for Swibit. It lets you start and stop a work timer and log timesheet entries against projects and tasks in your own Swibit instance. It communicates only with the Swibit server you are already logged in to, reusing your existing browser session — it does not ask for or store your password, and it uses no API key.

Data we collect

We do not collect, store, sell, or transfer any personal data.

- The extension has no backend of its own and sends no data to the developer or to any third party.

- Timesheet inputs you enter (project, task, description, hours) are sent only to your own Swibit server, on your behalf, exactly as if you had typed them into the Swibit web app. That data is governed by your organization's own Swibit terms.

- No browsing history, location, analytics, or tracking of any kind is collected.

Permissions

- alarms — periodically refreshes the timer status so the toolbar badge can show elapsed time. Nothing is stored or sent off-device.

- Host access (https://app.swibit.com) — lets the extension call the Swibit server's timesheet endpoints using your existing session.
